Podz now supports full timezones instead of relying on abbreviations, helping avoid conflicts like IST meaning both Irish Standard Time and India Standard Time.

Destination and location search for trips and events has also been improved, with results now shown in the user’s selected language instead of only English.

This update also includes significant performance improvements for a faster, smoother experience. 2.20.40 Jun 25 This update includes a helpful new way to invite people to your pods, plus improvements for trips, events, and expenses.

You can now send an invite to another pod directly inside an existing pod chat. If you’re already chatting with a group and want to invite them to a different pod you created, it’s now easier to share the invite without leaving the conversation.

We also improved agenda timezone handling for trips, so trip events now show in the trip’s timezone instead of your local timezone. This update also fixes an issue with Trip/Event expense recording when using percentage calculations. 2.20.38 Jun 19 This update adds new World Cup features and improvements.

You can now set game reminders when choosing the teams you want to follow. Game results are also now shown in both the World Cup calendar view and Agenda view, making it easier to keep up with every match.

We’ve also improved timezone selection for events and trips. Timezones still fill automatically based on your location or trip destination, but now they’re easier to find and change. You can search by IANA timezone name, city name, or abbreviation — for example, America/New York, Washington, EST, or EDT.

This update also fixes an issue where prior-day events could appear in Upcoming Events after timezone updates, along with overall performance improvements and bug fixes. 2.20.37 Jun 18 **What’s New**

**My Calendar Only**
You can now filter your calendar to show only events you created or are attending. The new toggle works across Snapshot, Day, Week, Month, and Agenda views, and Podz remembers your preference.
**Car Rental Search**
Plan car rentals directly from your trip. Add a car rental event and search Booking.com or Turo with your pickup location, dates, and times pre-filled from your trip details. You can also set a different drop-off location, enter driver age details, and track booking info like confirmation numbers.
**Add Itineraries to Existing Trips**
AI-generated itineraries can now be added to trips you’ve already created. Choose an existing trip, pick a start date, and add new activities without starting from scratch.
This update also includes additional improvements and fixes to make Podz smoother and easier to use. 2.20.36 Jun 10 New: Follow the World Cup in Podz! Pick your teams, add matches to your Pod calendar, plan watch parties, vote on winners, chat with your group, and enjoy the tournament together.
We’ve also improved group trip planning with voting for itinerary recommendations and destinations, making it easier to compare ideas and build a trip everyone is excited about.
